'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' was celebrated at Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal as the government of India has announced to observe 75 week-long celebrations on the occasion of the 75th Independence of India. On this occasion, the Department of History and the Library Committee of the college collaborated to organized a talk on India's freedom struggle.
The special guest for the occasion was Alphius Fernandes, lecturer SFX Higher Secondary School Siolim. The other guests were Udesh Natekar, Principal - Ganpat Parsekar College, Pramod Kerkar - Librarian, Sneha B Ghadi - Department of History.
The programme began with Yuvratni Naik welcoming the guest. This was followed by the Principal's welcome address. Hritik Naik then introduced the speaker to the programme. The speaker in his talk spoke about the entire Indian freedom struggle. Starting from the foundation of the Indian National Congress till the partition of India.
