The National Deworming Day (NDD) will be observed all over Goa on October 12, 2021. In wake of the current Covid pandemic situation, the NDD round will be conducted over a period of one week.
All children in the age group of 1-19 years will be administered the deworming tablet 'Albendazole 400 MG' during this round. All parents, teachers and Anganwadi workers are requested to extend their complete cooperation in achieving success in this programme, informs the Department of Information and Publicity in a press release.
