Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) plans to organize ‘Reading Competitions’ across Goa through the parishes and other non-government organisations and literary centres. As all activities remained at standstill due to Covid 19 since March, DKA has now decided to arrange the ‘Reading Competitions’ to create awareness of Konkani and boost the reading habit. DKA will provide all the assistance including the prizes to those who organize this activity.
There has to be a minimum of 25 participants in the competition but no upward limit. DKA will provide books to the participants in advance. There will be three prizes, first (Rs 2,000), second (Rs 1,500) and third (Rs 1,000) along with consolation prizes, if the judges so choose to. All prizes will be in the form of books.
