Eminent Goan watercolor artist Kalidas K. Satardekar has been officially invited as a Guest Artist to participate in the prestigious International Watercolor Festival “Caspian Waves 2026”, which will be held from June 12 to 14, in Baku, Azerbaijan. The international festival will feature a watercolor exhibition at the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan, plein air painting sessions in the historic Inner City (Icherisheher) and other picturesque regions of the country, live watercolor demonstrations at the Khatai Art Center, and a cultural program showcasing Azerbaijan’s rich artistic and historical heritage. Kalidas Satardekar, President of the All Goa Art Masters Association and Leader of the International Watercolor Society (South India), has been actively representing Goa and India at national and international art events. Recently, he successfully held his first international solo exhibition titled “Pravah” in Kobe, Japan, where he was invited as a Guest Artist by the Japan Nadeshiko Triennale 2026. His painting, “Chapel at ESG,” was exhibited at the iconic Kobe Port Tower as part of the prestigious triennial festival.
