Guirdolim Club made short work of CAC Cansaulim 4-2 to move to the quarter-finals of the Fr Gervasio Pinto football tournament, organised by Guardian Angel SC, at Figueiredo ground, Pontemol Curchorem, on Wednesday.
Guirdolim's Mark Revlon was the star of the match with his power packed shots and many assists to his teammates. Asher Correia gave his best for Cansaulim.
Guirdolim opened the scoreline through Joaquim Carvalho in the sixth minute.
As the match progressed, in the second half, Asher Correia netted two quick goals for Cansaulim in the 40th and 43rd minutes respectively.
Mario Fernandes netted for Guirdolim in the 50th minute off Mark Revlon's assists. Benson Fernandes of Guirdolim too recorded his name on the scoresheet in the 58th minute. Mark Revlon netted the fourth goal for Guirdolim in the 60th minute.
The man of the match was awarded to Ashwell Peixoto of Guirdolim by Denzil from Curchorem.
