The 12th edition of Swaramangesh will open with violin recital by Pt Rajan Mashelkar.

Swastik Cultural Association will organise Swaramangesh, the master Dinanath Mangeshkar Memorial, Goa’s biggest Indian classical music and dance festival from December 8-10 at the renovated DMK auditorium (AC) of Kala Academy, Panaji.
The festival is conceptualised by Swastik Cultural Association and presented by Fomento Group of Companies and powered by Rajdeep Builders. The festival will be inaugurated on December 8 at 4 pm. On the same day, the audience will witness an enchanting violin recital by Pt Rajan Mashelkar and the evening will end with the resonating voice of Padma Bhushan Begum Parween Sultana.
After the soul-stirring performances presented on day one, Saturday’s Indian classical saga will commence at 4.30 pm with the opening classical vocal act by Anubhab Khamaru (disciple of Padma Bhushan Pt Ajoy Chakrabarty), followed by a sitar recital presented by esteemed maestro Padma Bhushan Pt Budhaditya Mukherjee. The evening will end with the captivating voice of P. Raghunandan Panshikar.
The first half of the third day will commence at 9.15 am with Dattaguru Kelkar’s (student of Sanjeevan Music Academy) classical vocal followed by a performance by Debapriya Adhikary and Samanwaya Sarkar in a unique classical vocal and sitar jugalbandi. It will be followed by Pt Tarun Bhattacharya and Pt Ronu Majumdar in a santoor and flute jugalbandi.
Gauri Pathare’s enchanting voice will open the second session of the final day at 4.30 pm followed by a gripping tabla duet by Ut Akram Khan and Zargham Khan and Padma Shri Pt Ulhas Kashalkar’s genius presentation of ragas and taals will close the three-day festival.
