MARGAO: The Village Panchayat of Chinchinim-Deussua has drawn the attention of the Power officials to the presence of old electric poles that have been replaced with new ones in various locations in the village jurisdiction.
Sarpanch Frank Viegas has pointed out that while the new poles have been installed successfully, the old poles and associated debris have not yet been removed.
“These old poles and debris are causing inconvenience to the residents, obstructing pathways, and posing potential safety hazards. We kindly request the Electricity Department to take necessary action at the earliest to remove the old poles and clear the debris from the areas,” he said.
“We trust that your department will address this issue promptly and ensure that the village remains clean and safe for its residents.”
