The Catechetical Day was celebrated at the Diocesan level with religious fervour on February 7, 2021, in the Parish of Sé Catedral, Old Goa. His Grace Rev Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrão presided over the Holy Eucharistic Celebration which was concelebrated by Fr Alfred Vaz, Parish Priest of St Catherine Church, Old Goa, Canons of the Cathedral Chapter, Fr Romeu Godinho, Fr Savio J Pinto and other priests from the Old Goa Deanery.
In His homily, the Archbishop reminded the faithful to receive inspiration from the lives of St Paul, St Joseph Vaz and Blessed Carlo Acutis who deepened their faith in Jesus and hence were able to spread and witness the love of Jesus to others.
On the occasion, Archbishop released a total of six catechetical books.
