Panaji: Goa will host its first national-level Book Festival from February 4 to 8, 2026, at Bandodkar Ground, Campal, Panaji. The event is being organised jointly by the National Book Trust of India and the Lokmanya Cultural Foundation.
As part of the festival, a photography exhibition and competition has been announced for non-professional photographers aged 15 to 25 years from Goa. The theme is “Goa – Festivals and Culture”, with around 200 selected photographs depicting the state’s traditions, festivals, folk life and heritage. There is no registration fee, and entries must be submitted by February 2.
Attractive prizes include a first prize of Rs 10,000, two second prizes of Rs 7,500 each, three third prizes of Rs 5,000 each, five consolation prizes of Rs 3,000, five consolation prizes of Rs 2,500, and five special children’s category prizes of Rs 2,500 each.
