BJP leaders with former Chief Minister Churchill Alemao at his residence as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nine-year rule.

The saffron brigade made its presence felt in the minority heartland of Benaulim with party leaders calling on prominent citizens as part of nine years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule.
The BJP leaders led by party ST leader Anthony Barbosa descended at the residence of former Chief Minister Churchill Alemao to hand over the booklet highlighting the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Barbosa said he along with Benaulim Prabhari Subodh Govekar, Sameer Bandodkar and others visited various key voters and influential personalities from the Benaulim constituency as part of the successful completion of 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as PM of India.
"We first called on former Chief Minister Churchill Alemao at his residence in Varca, and then visited Benaulim Sarpanch Xavier Pereira at the Cana Benaulim Panchayat Office. We later called on Menino Fernandes (Menino de Bandar) ex-Sarpanch of Cana Benaulim and President of Tiatr Academy of Goa at his residence in Benaulim. We also called on the husband-wife duo of David and Vencila Fernandes," Barbosa said.
