Literary Association of Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao organised an inter-collegiate elocution competition recently. The topics for the competition were: “My Mhadei, Mai Mhadei”, “Will ChatGPT kill originality?” and “War and morality: A losing game?”.
The competition witnessed participation from 19 colleges across Goa. The first prize was bagged by Shrutika Morajkar of Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao, the second prize was awarded to Miccaya Fernandes of Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar and the third prize was won by Shraddha Shirodkar of Swami Brahmanand College.
The top three winners were awarded cash prizes worth Rs 2,500, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,500 respectively and rolling trophies. Two consolation prizes worth Rs 1,000 were also awarded to Shreya Kumbarjuvenkar of Goa College of Engineering and Aleena Anna Mathew of Agnel Institute of Technology and Design. The chief guest for the competition was Anil Lobo. Lobo along with Adv Eshan Usapkar and Merwyn Miranda were the judges for the competition.
