In order to encourage the producers, lyricists, singers and musician who take pains and invest huge amount of money to produce Konkani Audio(CD)/Video (VCD)/DVD/Digital Albums of Konkani Tiatr songs, every year Tiatr Academy of Goa organizes Konkani Songs and Music Awards. This year awards presentation was held on November 30 at TAG’s Conference Hall, Campal, Panaji Goa.
Tag’s President Menino Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Fr Domnic Alvares was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Menino Fernandes, President, Mario Menezes, Vice President and Cezar D’Mello, Member Secretary of Tiatr Academy of Goa.
The competition was judged by well-known musician Fr Rolland Lin Fernades and Elvis Goes. Along with cash prizes, mementos and certificates were awarded to the winners. The programme was compered by Socorro Fernandes. The event was coordinated by Uprita Asolkar.
