Writer and Konkani activist Anwesha Singbal's collections of poems 'Aasor' and 'Chanfo' will be launched on April 2 at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao at 5 pm in the presence of Konkani activist Chetan Acharya, writer Melvyn Rodrigues and folk artist Gopinath Gawas. The book is published by Sanjana Publications. These are the third and fourth collections of poems by Singbal who started writing at 12. Her first collection of poems, ‘Sulus’, was published in 2011 while her collection of poems, ‘Padsad’, was published in 2016 and ‘Dant’, a children’s story book, was published in 2017. Singbal, the current president of Konkani Bhasha Mandal, has been awarded the 2016 Central Sahitya Academy, New Delhi Yuva Sahitya Puraskar. The ceremony will be compared by teacher Brijesh Shet Desai.
