A Belarus national was arrested after the Narcotics Control Bureau’s Goa unit, in a joint operation with Pernem police, seized over a kilo of party and hallucination drugs from her rented premises in Korgao. The accused, identified as Ina Volkova.
The raid was conducted on the intervening night of December 9- 10, leading to the seizure of 933g of dark brown liquid suspected to be DMT, 41g of raw wood bark believed to be used for extraction, 388g of coffee-coloured DMT liquid, and 8g of dried mushrooms suspected to be used in the preparation of liquid DMT.
NCB stated that the contraband is valued at approximately Rs 1 crore in the international market.
