Accusing the BJP government for promoting defections in the state, Aam Aadmi Party Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas has said that people of Goa will have to teach the BJP a lesson in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. Saying that the government has inducted Congress turncoat Alexio Sequeira in the Pramod Sawant Cabinet by dropping PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral, Venzy said the government is promoting defections as evident by the Ministry given to the Congress-turned-BJP MLA.
He cautioned the BJP government that the people of Goa are watching the emerging developments, exuding confidence the people will take the ruling party a lesson.
