CANACONA: A Canacona girl has topped the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Incentive Scholarship Examinations (ISE) conducted for Std 4 students.
Jivika Jairam Pagi from the Government Primary School, Maxem, scored 90% marks at the Incentive Scholarship Exam for Std 4 students.
As many as 600 primary schools including government and aided institutions from rural and urban areas had enrolled for the examination and 3,165 students had appeared and answered the examinations in Goa.
Jivika Pagi studied and answered the ISE under the guidance of her teacher Milan Bandekar and her parents.
Around 257 Class 4 students from Canacona taluka had appeared for the aptitude test for Incentive Scholarship Scheme (Pradnya Shodh).
