Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday launched the ‘Nari Shakti’ App at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali, in the presence of Goa State Women Self Help Group Association President Sulakshana Sawant and others.
“The app has been designed to empower women and promote gender equality, so that every woman has access to resources and opportunities needed to thrive,” said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, while addressing a gathering.
“We believe that women have the power to transform their own lives and the world around them. Through education, advocacy, and community building, we work to support women at every stage of their journey,” he added.
Goa State Women Self Help Group Association President Sulakshana Sawant said the ‘Nari Shakti’ App is available for download on Google Play Store.
“I request all local self-help groups to make use of it to the fullest potential. The vision of Nari Shakti is to create a world where women have equal rights, opportunities, and representation in all aspects of life,” she said.
“We envision a society where women are free from discrimination, violence, and oppression, and are able to pursue their dreams and achieve their full potential.”
“We believe that empowering women is essential to creating a more just, equitable, and prosperous world for all. By supporting and amplifying the voices and experiences of women, we aim to inspire positive change and create a brighter future for generations to come.”
