Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called on Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah in New Delhi. Sawant expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the passage of the Goa Scheduled Tribes Political Reservation Bill. He extended a warm invitation to Amit Shah to visit Goa in September to launch the 'Mhaje Ghar Yojana' and several other major initiatives aimed at the state’s development.
Sawant also met and interacted with Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare and BJP National President JP Nadda in New Delhi.
The chief minister expressed his gratitude for the passage of the Goa Scheduled Tribes Political Reservation Bill in Parliament. The CM also sought his support in expediting the proposal for 50 additional MBBS seats for Goa Medical College, which has already been submitted to the National Medical Commission (NMC).
