In a massive event at Cumbarjua, Former sarpanch and current panch member of Cumbharjua panchayat, Surendra Naik joined Goa TMC today. The induction was presided over by Goa TMC Mahila President Avita Bandodkar, Goa TMC Vice President Shivdas Naik and Goa TMC Cumbarjua Candidate, Samil Volvaiker.
Following his induction into the party, Surendra Naik said, "There is a huge unemployment and financial crisis under the BJP government which was formed by unethical means, There are numerous scams including job scam that BJP ministers are involved in, and in such a situation we are in grave need of a credible alternative which we now have in the form of TMC."
Detailing the reason for joining TMC, Surendra Naik remarked, "I have full faith in TMC’s Cumbarjua candidate Samil Volvaiker and that is why I have joined the party."
Welcoming him, Samil Volvaiker said, "We’re happy to induct such a prominent grassroots leader into the party and I believe his addition will help further strengthen our cadre." After the induction ceremony, Avita Bandodkar noted, “TMC is accused of being an outsider party while BJP and Congress both are parties that were not formed Goa, TMC is a national party like any other party, Goa TMC is a party of Goans and by Goans.”
Goa TMC wholeheartedly welcomes the new members and is convinced of their diligence towards bringing a ‘New Dawn’ in Goa.
