PANAJI: Fr. Rob Galea and his team recently visited Ancestral Goa and the Big Foot Cross Museum, adding to the site’s list of distinguished visitors. Taking a break from his performances at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Fr. Galea explored the rich heritage preserved at the site.
Adriel Alvares, Managing Director of Ancestral Goa, personally guided the group, showcasing Goan culture through intricate art displays. Fr. Galea was particularly moved to find a Maltese Cross from his hometown among the museum’s collection of over 1,500 crosses, taking a moment to offer prayers for peace and joy.
