MARGAO: Margao police have registered an FIR against unknown persons in connection with the theft of gold ornaments from a house at Calconda, Margao, on Friday.
In his complaint, Mahendra Morajkar, a resident of Calconda, stated that on April 24, between 11.00 hrs and 12.45 hrs, unknown persons forced open the rear door of his house and stole a one-gram gold chain with a three-gram gold locket and a three-gram gold earring. The stolen items are valued at around Rs 1 lakh and were taken after breaking open a cupboard.
