GoaMiles have clarified that they don't have any political affiliation with any party and Parashar Pai Khot, who joined TMC, has resigned from GoaMiles two months back and is no longer with the firm.

"We completely deny that Prashar Pai Khot, who has joined TMC, is our Chief Executive officer. Wrong information has been in the media. Khot left two months back, and I am the present CEO of GoaMiles", said Hemant Prabhu Chodnekar.

Now, Parag Raikar has been appointed the coordination director of Goa Miles to solve issues of the taxi drivers associated with Goa Miles.

"There are 3,000 plus drivers registered with GoaMiles. We are in constant touch with these drivers. Petrol hike was the issue of the drivers. They were facing issues due to Covid pandemic and petrol hike was another issue", said Parag Raikar.

Parag said that GoaMiles has given financial support to the taximen to fit CNG facilities to 100-plus cars.
