The Special Investigation Team (SIT-Land Grab) has made three arrests in separate cases of property fraud reported in the State.
Mohammed Suhail alias Micheal Fernandes, Royson Rodrigues and Estevan Elvis D’souza, already booked and arrested in multiple cases of land fraud in the recent past, are facing fresh charges of cheating, forgery, impersonation, etc.
Superintendent of Police (SIT) Nidhin Valsan confirmed the arrest of the trio in separate FIRs pertaining to these cases.
Last week, the Enforcement Directorate cracked down on the immovable properties of alleged land fraudsters Vikrant Shetty, Mohammed Suhail, and Rajkumar Maithi and several others by provisionally attaching 31 immovable properties valued at Rs 39.24 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
