MES College, GTA sign MoU

MES College, Zuarinagar and Goa Technology Association (GTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 7 at M S Kamat Seminar Hall of MES College of Arts & Commerce, Zuarinagar.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Paresh Joshi, Vice Chairman of Murgaon Education Society by Dr Mansasvi M Kamat Principal, MES College and Milind Anvekar President, GTA.
The other dignitaries present on the occasion include Capt Ruchin Dayal Compliance Expert, IMO Res 428, Maritime Cyber Security, Magirish Salelkar Founder President GTA, CEO & CoFounder UMANG GROUP, IT Ecosystem. Ekta Agarwal Founder of SS Technologies, Nishant Singh Executive Director at CIDROY Technologies, Co-Founder & COO Fitness Konnect, Vinayak Dhumatkar Partner at GS Keni & Co. Dr Ashish Joshi Vice Principal of MES College and Gauri Dessai BCA Coordinator.
During the panel discussion, the speakers shared their valuable insights on their entrepreneurship journey and the different hurdles they had to overcome. The Connoisseurs gave valuable guidance to the students as to what areas they should focus on and learn the practicality gap in the technologies.
The objective of the MoU is to bridge the gap between industry and academics and explore areas of mutual collaboration and cooperation between GTA and MES for offering various academic collaborations and programs exclusively for the students and faculty of MES College. The MoU envisions creating synergies between MES and GTA in training, research and teaching programme.
The MoU will open doors for students for internships and will empower the students to acquire skills that will enhance their employability with technology companies. Such partnerships are a win-win for the students, college and also industries. As for the students, in the process of learning what the industries suggest, they get to learn the latest in the chosen field and also get placements.
