Holy Cross Shrine, Bambolim will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Cross on May 15. The nine days novena and preparations for the Feast will begin on May 5 with the blessing of the Banner (fama) also on the same day at 5 pm followed by the Eucharist. The Novenas will begin on May 6 with the rosary, a small power point presentation based on the theme of the day/novena followed by Mass. The Mass timings are as follows: 7.30 am, 8.30 am, 10 am and 5 pm. The High Mass at 10 am will be presided by Most Rt Rev Filipe Neri Ferrao, Archbishop of Goa and Daman. The programme for the novenas and prayers for intentions are as follows: Taxi drivers and bus operators (May 6), families (May 7), health workers (May 8), fishing community (May 9), industrial workers (May 10), migrant labourers (May11), professionals (May 12), religious (May 13), toddy tappers (May 14) and general (May 15).
