MARGAO
Addressing the 'Chalo Ayodhya' programme organised at Gogol Housing Board grounds in Margao, Sadguru Brahmeshanand Acharya Swami asserted that one does not want to go in someone's way, but if someone comes in the way, the determination to fight for religion is taught by God.
"Many people like to stir up caste disputes, stay away from them. You have the blessings of the Gods of the Gomantakyas, so take a non-argument stance. But if you are attacked, if adharma increases, you should also remember that Rama took the bow and Hanuman took the mace for dharma," he added.
Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanawade, Minister Subhash Paldesai, MLA Ulhas Tuyekar, MLA Digambar Kamat, MLA Vijai Sardesai, MLA Daji Salkar, former Fatorda MLA Damu Naik and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
Swami was welcomed on the dais with a grand procession. The Swami said that the youth present here is the strength of Hindus. "The idol in Ayodhya will also be of Yuva Rama. This program is not for sect, party but for all orthodox Hindus. Ram was not against any religion or nation. If someone uses Rama for politics and power, how will the country accept him. Be prepared to change the law, but Ram of Ayodhya belongs to all. Let it not be said that no one has received an invitation, Rama has invited everyone. One should consider Rama as an ideal and surrender, try to bring Ramrajya like Rama, "swami added.
"People of various parties and organizations have come on the dais, they have come not for me but for Ram. As soon as you utter the word Ram, everyone will get the same happiness. It is okay to have a dispute in any matter, but don't fight in the name of Rama. If something happens to Hindus, everyone needs to come forward. At a time when many people who protested for the Ram Mandir had to sacrifice their lives, the temple is standing today. It is necessary to associate with the word Hindu. There is a need to unite the youth from every temple. There is a need to forget caste and unite as Hindus," Swami further said.
It has been decided to send at least one youth from a family to Ayodhya. Swami Brahmeshanand said that everyone has to fulfill this resolution together.
