The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress on Monday launched the campaign, titled 'Naukri Do, Nasha Nahi,’ aiming to address unemployment and drug abuse among the youth. North Goa District President Rinaldo Rozario, youth leader Devsurabhee Yaduvanshi, Umar Tambuli, and others were present on the occasion.

During the event, Rinaldo Rozario criticised the BJP government's failure to deliver on its promise of creating two crore jobs annually, claiming that the administration has left the youth in despair. “It is shameful that the BJP government is involved in selling jobs. This deprives deserving candidates of getting jobs. We need to stop this by uniting and raising our voices against it,” Rinaldo Rozario said.

He accused the government of fostering an environment that enables drug and narcotics abuse, diverting young people from constructive paths. Rinaldo Rozario also called on a large number of youth to participate in the upcoming 'Naukari Dev Nasha Nahi Chalo Delhi' event, expressing hope that the gathering would highlight the government's shortcomings in providing employment opportunities. “The government has destroyed businesses and other small trades in Goa. It has failed in all aspects and has miserably failed to provide jobs,” he said.

Devsurabhee Yaduvanshi also criticised the BJP government over its failure to provide jobs. "Narcotics have reached the nook and corner of Goa, and youths are getting addicted to it. We need to eradicate it and steer our youths to give them a good future," she said.
