It's been three years since the shocking Red Wedding episode of Game of Thrones — when we lost Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), Talisa Stark (Oona Chaplin) and her unborn child, Grey Wind the direwolf, and many more — aired, scarring audiences forever. It was brutal, gruesome, and unexpected (if you hadn't read the books, that is), and it remains one of the biggest plot twists of the series. But it looks like history may be repeating itself on the new Netflix period drama Medici: Masters of Florence, where Madden stars as Cosimo de' Medici. Madden's Medici was recently paired up with a character played by David Bradley, the guy who played Red Wedding orchestrater Walder Frey on GoT, meaning Robb Stark was recently reunited with the guy who murdered his family. Of course, actors reunite on new projects all the time. But what's even more notable here is that Madden plays Bradley's potential son-in-law again. Part of the reason Robb got himself killed on GoT was because he broke his vow to marry into House Frey, so maybe this isn't the best idea to try here. Again.
Some believe that Netflix is simply trolling them, and one fan even wondered if "David Bradley has a contract clause requiring him to always play Richard Madden's father-in-law." Same. One thing is definitely for certain: Don't mess this wedding up, too, Robb. Seriously, just don't.
