Without naming the Aam Aadmi Party, Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged Goan voters to beware of political parties who only offer freebies as part of their electoral promises.
“Some people come here and promise freebies. What do they think of Goa? Just because you are offering freebies, you will get votes? We want a government which takes the right tax and carries out development without corruption,” Shah said.
“We do not want a government which gives freebies. We want a government which teaches people to live with respect and partner people in development. Those who do not know Goa, have not seen Goa at all, are coming here preaching,” the Union Home Minister also said.
