In a big boost to the Aam Aadmi Party, a large number of people joined the party in South Goa on Tuesday.
Aam Aadmi Party Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambare declared that AAP's ground strength is increasing on the backdrop of the formal entry of several locals from Benaulim into the party.
He said owing to the initiative taken by Venzi Veigas, several villagers from Varca, Benaulim, Cavelossim, Colva and Carmona joined the party at the function held at Benaulim.
At a formal function held at Benaulim, Mhambare asserted that the people were impressed by the work done by the party during the consecutive lockdown and the pandemic situation and this strengthened their faith in AAP.
Welcoming the new members, Mhambare expressed hope that more people would soon join the Aam Aadmi Party in the days to come.
He further said the AAP volunteers were doing a great job in helping the people in the current pandemic and would continue to do so. He urged partymen to work hard to free Goa from corruption and abuse of power by the current government.
