Corporation Bank opens 55th branch in Goa

State-owned Corporation Bank opened its 55th outlet in Goa zone, at Parra, Tuesday, March 22, 2016. The branch was inaugurated by Calangute MLA and Chairman of North Goa Planning and Development, Micheal Lobo.

In his inaugural address, Shri Michael V. Lobo praised the services rendered by the Bank in the State of Goa especially to MSMEs and students. He requested the people of Parra-Verla-Canca, to avail the various facilities offered by the Bank. Also present at the occasion was Verla-Canca Panchayat Sarpanch, Milton Joseph Marques who expressed his happiness over opening the branch and cited it presence as integral in further development of the village.

Robert Menezes, Deputy General Manager & Zonal Head of Goa Zone said that the bank has always been on the forefront in financing agriculture and MSMEs at very attractive interest rates. He also informed that the Bank has bagged SKOCH Achiever Award for its excellent performance in financing to MSMEs.

T.E. Manohar, Assistant General Manager & Deputy Zonal Head welcomed the gathering and Shyamsundar S. Sawant, Branch Manager proposed the vote of thanks.
