Actor David Hasselhoff is going to star in movie, which also features Dwayne Johnson and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra.
Mr Hasselhoff played Mitch Buchannon in the original '90s TV series and his role in the movie will be played by The Rock, who shared the news on Instagram. However, it's unclear what part Mr Hasselhoff will be playing. Dwayne also wrote about how supportive Mr Hasselhoff was about the movie, "I got to tell you, The Hoff has been amazing! From day one, he's been so supportive. He's like, 'If there's one guy who could play me, it's The Rock.'
Filming is currently underway in Boca Raton, Florida with Seth Gordon as director. The movie is set for a May 19, 2017 release in the US.
