Over 20,000 bikers from all India will roar down to Goa to celebrate a week of riding, brotherhood, bikes, music, and motoring heaven. This will be the fifth edition of India Bike Week (IBW)
It is the iconic 5th year of the great migration to India Bike Week, Asia's most incredible biker festival. A chance to ride from every corner of this great country and party with the best, the toughest, the most adventurous men and women of this generation. It is that one week in the year when biking enthusiasts dust off their gear, rev up the machines and go party with their friends.
For two days in November, India Bike Week will be the home of world biking. With the greatest names in bike design and manufacture, the rarest biker and accessory shopping, with music, barbecues, bikini bike wash, beer gardens, training academies, track racing and much, more, IBW is 10 acres of biker paradise.
The team has left no stone un-turned to celebrate the fifth year of India Bike Week in 2017 and for six months has been developing the ‘Mod Bike Displays' and ‘Biker Build Off' competitions to showcase the greatest names in two wheeler design. The world's fastest woman on Two Wheels - Leslie Porterfield will grace the India Bike Week.
India Bike Week will welcome over 280 biking clubs from all over India into the IBW family and cheering them into the festival with their bike colours and parades. A flat track for racing has been built and an Enduro Track for training them.
Importantly, the all new ‘Innovation Class' of India-built biking tech has been created where three heroes of India Biking will be selected to celebrate IBW's prestigious ‘Honour Roll'. Legends of long distance, transnational Bike Trips will present India Bike Week's first ever ‘Film Festival'. Some of the world's best biking and accessory brands have been invited to showcase their world class gear in an all new ‘Biker Mart and Expo'.
‘Live Music, Food Festivals', the great IBW ‘Strong Man and Women of Biking Competitions', the ‘Mega Moto VLogger Meet Up' are just some of the many adrenaline busting moments of the Festival.
Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG, and Director of India Bike Week, said "I've never been so excited by India Bike Week as I am this year. We've been working on it since last November, and we've thrown everything at it. It's going to be just one enormous party and I can't wait to ride down to it. Who would have thought five years ago that IBW would become so big, so important globally, and such a fantastic celebration of Indian Biking and Bikers. It's a once in a lifetime festival and I can't wait for it to roll by !"
"It's the fifth year. And it will be huge. The team has made a bold new move to guarantee that this iconic year will be celebrated by more Bikers than ever before," added Martin.
Organisers added that all the planning including the ticket price, has been done in manner so as to give back to the ‘brotherhood' for supporting the festival in such huge numbers and with such energy, grace and passion over the past five years.
