Confident of its victory by a huge margin in the upcoming February 14 Assembly polls, BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said it is a poll battle of BJP versus all other parties.

Speaking to reporters at the Election Office in Panaji, Tanavade, accompanied by Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region G Kishen Reddy, said BJP is growing stronger with each passing day.

Reddy is also the co-in charge of BJP Goa elections.

The State BJP President said, “We are growing stronger with each passing day. It is a poll battle between BJP and all other parties. Trinamool Congress has allied with the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and Congress has allied with Goa Forward Party. About the Aam Aadmi Party, let them at least win. On the other hand, BJP will make a clean sweep in the upcoming polls,” he said.

The party, Tanavade added, will 100 per cent form the government without any alliance partner. He advised the Opposition parties to stop daydreaming of defeating BJP. “Our candidates and karyakartas are getting a huge response during their daily campaign. We will have representatives in the Goa Legislative Assembly from all the talukas,” he claimed.

Tanavade took a dig at Congress manifesto - Roadmap to Goa Vision 2035 - stating the political party without a leader is unsure of its victory. “Their manifesto indicates Congress is not sure of victory. They should plan for the next five years. Keep that aside, our Sankalp Patra which will be released tomorrow comprises everything required for the next five years,” he added.
