Mahindra Group-owned Mahindra Retail Thursday unveiled leading American children's clothing brand Carter Inc in its 'BabyOye' stores across India.
With a plan of opening 40 Store-in-Stores at BabyOye's outlets in 15 cities, consumers will now be exposed to a wider choice of clothing, gifts and accessories, among an already established children novelty sector in the country. According to a press release by the group, the brand will be present as a 250 sq. ft. Store-in-Store (SIS) format with Carter’s trademark fixtures.
The Carter merchandise was inaugurated by famous soap artist Mandira Bedi and her son Vir.
Commenting on the partnership, Mahindra Retail CEO, Prakash Wakankar said, "We are delighted to welcome Carter’s to our stores in India.
