A special drive was conducted under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa initiative by the State government and the Village Panchayat Chinchinim-Deussua.
The event aimed at providing various government services and facilitating the registration for multiple schemes to empower the local population.
Several government departments and corporations actively participated in the event. The Directorate of Health Services organised free medical camps and facilitated the creation of ABHA Cards. The Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration offered FSSAI registration services and shared important information about entrepreneurship schemes.
The Department of Legal Metrology assisted the community with Packers Registration Certificates and other related services. Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited issued Smart Transit Cards while the Directorate of Women and Child Development registered beneficiaries for schemes such as Griha Aadhar, Ladli Laxmi, and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
In addition, the Life Insurance Corporation promoted the Bima Sakhi Yojana, facilitating registrations that aim to provide financial security to individuals and families. The Directorate of Agriculture offered support and guidance on various agricultural schemes, while the Directorate of Animal Husbandry explained and facilitated enrollment in livestock and animal welfare programmes.
Aadhar card enrolment and updates were also carried out, ensuring that all participants had access to necessary identification services.
