Asus Zenfone AR
The Asus ZenFone AR smartphone features a unique design that could enable Tango-powered Augmented Reality (AR), and also supports Daydream Virtual Reality (VR) out of the box, giving you a phone that is designed from the ground up for both AR and VR. Moreover, Asus has thrown in some killer hardware like the Snapdragon 821 chipset with 8 GB of RAM.
Lenovo Smart Home Assistant
With Smart Home technology gaining momentum, Lenovo has unveiled the Lenovo Smart Home Assistant, which is exactly similar to the Amazon Echo, except it looks better. It also uses Alexa’s cloud-based voice services to do things like play music, search the web and even shop for supplies.
Lego Boost
While we all love Lego, we have used it only for constructions. Now the company has launched the Lego Boost which adds more functionality like making the creations walk, roll, flash, and make noise. Interestingly, all of this can be programmed using a simple app that uses a drag and drop coding language.
Tanvas
Tanvas helps offer a sense of touch using your touchscreen. It uses a new technology that imbues displays with haptics to simulate how the things you see on screen feels in the real world, thus helping you feel different textures like choppy, grainy, fine, and wavy.
Zera Food Recycler
This smart food recycler made by Whirlpool turns your food scraps into fertilizer in about a week right in the comfort of your home. It uses a combination of oxygen, moisture, heat and mixing to expedite the decomposition process and doesn’t emit any foul smell.
Kolibree’s Ara AI toothbrush
The sensors in the Kolibree’s Ara AI toothbrush track your daily brushing habits. Then using a few patented deep learning algorithms, it will help you improve your habits to provide better dental care and hygiene.
Parihug
This one is for the long-distance relationships (Also ideal for #ForeverAlone folks). Parihug is a teddy bear which is connected to the internet. As such, when you hug your bear, the sensors on the bear of your loved ones will vibrate to simulate a hug in real time with the same strength.
Catspad
If feeding your cat is becoming troublesome for you, then you can just switch to the Catspad smart pet feeder which automates the entire process of feeding your cat without requiring your presence. Using the smartphone app, you can automatically feed your cat with dry food and fresh water. You can also set the timing and quantity of the feed.
Kerastase Hair Coach
As if a smart toothbrush wasn’t enough, we also have a smart hairbrush launched by Kerastase in collaboration with Withings and L’Oreal. The Kerastase Hair Coach will track your brushing techniques, and give you feedback. It also offers tips to better protect one’s hair.
