PANAJI: Youth organisation YUVA celebrated its 12th Founders’ Day with cultural programmes and competitions like fancy dress and dance wherein 250 children participated. The celebrations were carried out in the presence of Sarvesh Shetye, president YUVA, Raghuvir Mahale, founder YUVA, Shashank Sukhthankar treasurer YUVA and Pallavi Salgaocar, State president of Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa, Shivani Shetye and others. Pallavi Salgaocar was felicitated by YUVA for her contribution towards society and Goa. Raghuvir Mahale spoke on the journey of YUVA and its achievements including getting National Award for being Best Youth Organization in India. He also shared the plan of starting YUVA Bhavan for society where a senior citizen’s centre and youth empowerment hub will be opened.
