In a bizarre incident, a middle aged man inflicted self injuries on his body outside the Margao police station on Monday morning.
The victim, hailing from outside the state, was later rushed to the South Goa district hospital.
Sources said the victim broke a soda bottle and inflicted injuries to his abdomen.
Margao Police station in-charge, PI Tulsidas Naik informed that the victim is convalescing at the South Goa district hospital.
“Preliminary reports stated that the man was in a disturbed state of mind. He has sustained injuries to his abdomen”, he added.
