PANAJI: A 30-year-old man died after being run over by a train at Margao Railway Station’s Platform 6 this morning. The deceased has been identified as Avinash Roy from Odisha.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Roy may have slipped while attempting to board a train, leading to the fatal incident. Early reports also suggested that he was intoxicated and asleep on the tracks at the time.
Police are continuing their investigation to confirm the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
