Please maintain this temple of learning

I am a regular visitor to the Dr Francisco Luis Gomes library at Navelim, the best in South Goa. It serves as a good learning resource centre for students and general public alike with books, journals and magazines on a wide variety of subjects. It is distressing to note that the maintenance of the building leaves a lot to be desired. Mildewed external walls, slippery entrance steps, unkempt garden and dampness in the interiors is seen throughout the year. At the very least the government can give it a coat of paint post the monsoons. Such educational buildings of immense benefit to society shouldn't be allowed to deteriorate this way.
