Monsoon has arrived and it's high time now that the clean up drives in several localities are taken to their logical conclusion. Empty cans, bottles, broken plastic pieces, shells and other things which can retain rain water require instant eradication. However, areas of this nature are an open invitation as breeding grounds to mosquitoes, flies and several other insects. Henceforth, multiple diseases such as malaria/dengue, etc gain momentum and spread like wild fire, especially during the monsoon season. Subsequently, monitoring of such type of areas and eliminating these breeding sites can definitely bring relief to the people. Eventually, prevention is better than cure as the old saying goes, meets the mark alongwith the vigilant behaviour from the inhabitants.
