Recently the team from Jeevan Pramaan visited Goa to create awareness among the retired employees with regards to the issue of generating a digital life certificate through the app created by the government. This has been very good and helpful to many pensioners who have to line up at banks to give their life certificates. I used the Jeevan Pramaan app and downloaded a copy of my life certificate. I inquired with the SBI manager, Zuarinagar and even sent an email to confirm if the digital life certificate has been delivered. He has been clueless and does not even have the courtesy to reply to my email. My concern is how does the pensioner confirm that the successful life certificate has reached the pension disbursing agency? The bank officials should have been able to help out to guide the pensioners but they seem to be ignorant of the app itself. Will the Jeevan Pramaan team once again make it easier for the pensioner to receive a quick message that the certificate has been sent to the pension disbursing agency so this will not cause any sleepless worries to the senior citizen pensioners?
