Assagao’s cleared land must not be wasted

The Assagao Communidade has finally cleared its land of the legacy garbage dump, which was removed by the Mapusa Municipal Council after a long legal battle. While the surface appears clean, the soil underneath is likely to be contaminated, which may affect new vegetation on this plateau near the Ganeshpuri Housing Board.

I suggest that the Assagao Communidade consider developing this land into a modern driving test ground. It could include proper road signs and practical setups to help driving schools in North Goa book training slots. This would also allow RTO officials to conduct real driving tests on a well-designed and standardised test track for new licence applicants.
The RTO should put forward proposals to the authorities, and I hope the Assagao Communidade will be willing to partner with the government on such a project to help produce safe and skilled drivers for the future.
