As Goa welcomes the monsoons, the pre-monsoon rains washes away everything with flooded roads, uncleaned choked drains, houses filled with rain water and common people's lives are disturbed because the Goa government seems unprepared and overwhelmed for the coming monsoon. Is this how my Goa used to look when it used to rain during the first showers of the monsoon when our State was so green and beautiful and the landscape and scenic beauty was mesmerising. Only one question arises in my mind is whether so called development is turning my erstwhile beautiful Goa into an unpleasant concrete jungle?
