There have been reports that there has been a surge in the Covid-19 virus in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and China. There are many people from India who frequent these countries on business trips. In fact, I am aware of people from my village who are working and residing in Singapore. During the last pandemic, the government was not proactive in checking the entry points of the country, e.g., airports. As this small surge may snowball into a full-fledged epidemic, it would be in the fitness of things that the Indian Government as well as the Goa Government take some preventive measures by monitoring the incoming flow of passengers from all countries before it's too late.
