The matter regarding need for installing necessary time-table pertaining to ferry service at the Durbhat jetty in Ponda was published in this column on December 20, 2020.
However, as on March 13, the said time table was yet to be installed. In its absence, commuters travelling via Durbhat ferry towards Rassaim, Cortalim, Vasco and adjoining areas face inconvenience. Being totally ignorant of the said timings, commuters visit this jetty much early with the intention that they should not miss the concerned ferry.
I once again request the River Navigation Department to take a note of the matter and initiate prompt positive action in installing the ferry time table at the Durbhat jetty.
