This is to bring to your attention that the road from Tilamol Junction to Rivona was dug up for laying power cables, water pipelines, and other service utilities. After the work was done, the dug-up section was only filled with rubble stones. It was neither levelled nor tarred. As a result, the damaged part now takes up almost half the width of the road, making it hard for even two small cars to pass safely. The street lights are also not working properly. In several places, rainwater collects on the road due to poor drainage. This leads to dirty water splashing on people walking or riding two-wheelers, creating an unhygienic situation. Additionally, water collects in front of Quepem PHC, at Taki, and at Bansai on the Quepem–Curchorem road due to uncleared roadside gutters. I request the Deputy Collector’s office, Quepem Municipality, PWD (Roads section), Health Department, the traffic police of Curchorem, and the traffic cell at Tilamol to urgently look into this issue.
