The public transport system in Goa which has mixed operators has never been to the satisfaction of the customers. The timings and rates that the customer has to bear during his trip seem to be controversial. Take for instance the rates charged by private taxi operators as they have no fixed rates, how will a customer know if the rates charged by the driver are reasonable? The use of the app aggregator is the best for every stakeholder. Simply refusing the transparent changes is no solution if Goan tourism has to survive. If the Transport Minister makes a statement that the Goa Miles operators the taxis are paying their income tax this only shows that those resisting are making much more and refusing to enter the trade that also honours the customer. Why only tourists, the locals would have preferred to pay for a hired vehicle rather than go purchase their own vehicle where parking is a biggest headache for those trying to go to their destination. I hope better sense will prevail and let the app aggregator be implemented across Goa.
