Sources say Chief Minister Pramodbab Sawant called up Vijaibab in the morning to extend his birthday wishes. A couple of BJP MLAs, besides a Cabinet Minister and a host of present and former MLAs, including Varca strongman Bab Churchill descended at the Dovondem bandh to shower their blessings on Vijaibab. Cong camp abuzz as new entrant Chirag Naik maintains low profile
Where’s Chirag Naik, is a question doing the rounds in Congress circles in the commercial capital, a month after his induction in the party. For, this question is being raised by his detractors in party circles and outside whether Chirag is yet to descend on the streets to take Congress-turned-BJP MLA Diggu head on. Sources, however, pointed out that Chirag is on the move, silently interacting with people since his formal induction in the party. Chirag seemed working to a strategy, sources say. Wait and watch.
